Viviente Westwood
With all kind of tights, Vivienne still keeps on with so-called ‘aladin’s pants’, which have been dominating in fashion scene for a while. Yet, the astonishing surprise in the recent Paris Fashion Week was to see models with ‘moustaches’. Famous designer didn’t answer why she presented her models as men. Did she find inspiration in Dali, famous Spanish painter, or from fairytales, where it is impossible to imagine the starring hero without it? Journalist failed to get an answer, so she left us wondering.

‘Lanvin’
For the next season fall/winter 2010/2011, fashion designers advice all ladies to wear tunics with emphasized shoulders, tights or very tight trousers with elasticity, unusual tailored coats, gowns, striped socks, and so on. Furthermore, predominant colours are blue and pink followed by orange and green. Fashion designer, Jeanne-Marie Lanvin, suggests dresses with metal colours and coats with big shoulders in red and artificial feathers which makes a woman look more glamorous. John Galliano has created for ‘Dior’ a very feminine collection where light and tremulous materials in colour of powder dominate.

Even if leather trousers, manly shoes and bow as a detail are recommended as ‘must have’, most of designers from Paris claim that there is no winter without long boots and mini skirt or dress.

Paris showed that for the next fall/winter we can expect a romantic and feminine season.
