All magazines recently wrote about Adidas brand new collection “Star Wars” 2010, in official stores very soon. Finally everybody has opportunity to fill their own shoe shelves with a piece from our favorite jedis.
On January 16th new photos on official web pages and also prices of every piece were released across Europe. As usual, Adidas once again has presented their new products in full glory!
Some of the products are inspired by characters and striking events from one of the most famous SF film series “Star Wars” – Darth Vader, Star Troopers, Princess Leila, Luke Skywalker, Yoda etc. - while the others find inspiration from cars, space ships and location seen in the movie. In any case, the iconography of the famous space saga is very cleverly turned into a very creative design of shoes, t-shirts and sweaters.
The fact that Adidas worked a lot on this special collection and have put big expectation on it becomes obvious when one watches the specially recorded commercial video and campaign launched on Internet and Television at the same time. In commercial, with a newly remixed version of the main soundtrack theme from the movie, “The Imperial March”, Darth Vader comes to the Earth with his Storm Troopers and meanwhile there David Beckham, Snoop Dog, DJ Neil Armstrong and Daft Punk are expect him!!! How fantastic can that be?!
However, the first impressions of the video and campaign are definitely fantastic no matter you are a Star Wars fun or not!
