Hair coloring is the practice of coloring hair usually seen in nowadays in between young people. Temporary hair color:

Temporary hair color is very familiar to us and found in various forms of rinses, shampoos, gels, sprays, and foams. These colors are brighter and safe in comparison with the permanent ones as they don’t penetrate into the skin. Basically these dye molecules are made in that form, so that they can never enter into the skin. Temporary colors are generally used in party or festive occasions like birthdays and Halloween etc.

Semi-permanent hair color:

Semi-permanent hair dies due to their structural difference able to partially penetrate the hair shaft. For this reason, the color will survive surprisingly even after repeated washing, typically 4-5 shampoos or a few weeks. Semi-permanents contain no, or very low levels of toxic compound P-Phenylenediamine or other such ingredients which are beneficiary for hair shaft.

Demi-permanent hair color:

Demi permanent hair color is permanent hair color mostly used old people who want to cover their gray hair.

ADVERSE EFFECT:

  1. Skin irritation and allergy: Allergic reaction to the color is very common associated with redness, sores, itching etc.
  2. Hair breakage: Hair that has been damaged by excessive exposure to chemicals is considered 'over-processed' resulting in dry, rough and fragile hair. In extreme cases, the hair can breaks off entirely.
